COVID-19 UPDATE: Post-Lockdown Sailing Plans
The current anti-virus restrictions have prevented sailing for the time being but this doesn’t mean we can’t look forward to getting back on the water. All courses and cruises planned up to the end of May are cancelled, June and July are uncertain, dates in September and October remain valid for the time being.
As soon as official notice is given that we can resume sailing we will publish revised dates. There is no risk to you in booking because we have changed our terms, so you will be eligible for a new date or a refund if we are forced to cancel.
If you would like to be contacted when new dates become available, please phone or email Charles on 07515 387693 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
In the meantime, stay safe and keep dreaming.
Driac was a one-off design by the world-famous designer Charles Nicholson, built at Gosport by Camper and Nicholsons (the Rolls-Royce of yachting) in 1930. She was built for A H G Macpherson who named her Driac after the wealthy Scottish industrialist Sir James Caird who had supported him financially (Caird spelt backwards is Driac, pronounced Dryack).
